Healing is the one grouping in this collection that is almost never a single stone. Look at the pieces here and the same pattern repeats: seven stones on one strand, or a stone paired with a second one, or two minerals grown through each other so both show in the same bead.
Why it is a set
The reason is practical. A single stone can only be one color and one hardness. Where the pieces are grouped for healing they are built as combinations instead — one stone for weight, one for color, one for the shine — and the combination is the point rather than any one of them.
That is also why this collection overlaps so heavily with the chakra pieces. Seven stones in the traditional order is the most direct version of the same idea: not one material, but a set of them, arranged.
The three forms
-
Seven-stone strands — one gemstone for each position, on cord or elastic.
-
Paired strands — two materials, usually one clear and one colored, alternating down the length.
-
Combination minerals — super seven and rutilated quartz, where more than one mineral grew inside the same stone and both are visible.
Choosing
If you want a set, take a seven-stone strand. If you want one stone that already contains several, take the super seven or the rutilated quartz. How the seven are ordered is set out separately.
