Orders & Payment
Help with payment, currency, and changing your order.
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and buy-now-pay-later installment options. Every payment is processed through encrypted, secure gateways, and we never store your payment details.
Our site automatically shows prices in your local currency based on your country or region, and you will be charged in that same currency.
Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number. While your order is still being prepared, we can usually change or cancel it. Once your parcel has been dispatched, it can no longer be canceled, but you are welcome to request a return after it arrives.
Yes. Once your payment is confirmed, we will email your order confirmation to the address you provided. If you do not see it, please check your spam or junk folder first. Still missing? Email us and we will resend it.
Shipping & Delivery
Processing times, shipping rates, tracking, and delivery.
We ship to many countries worldwide. At checkout, we automatically check whether your delivery address is eligible for shipping. For our full list of destinations and estimated delivery times by region, please see our Shipping Policy.
Once your payment is confirmed, orders are usually processed within 1-3 business days. Processing may take slightly longer during Chinese public holidays or peak seasons. Custom-made and limited-edition pieces need additional crafting time and are typically dispatched within 5-7 business days.
After dispatch, most orders arrive within 7-14 days. Some countries, or destinations with slower customs clearance, may take a little longer. For the full breakdown by region, please see our Shipping Policy.
These are estimates only. Customs clearance, holidays, weather, and local carrier conditions can all affect the actual delivery date.
Shipping is free worldwide on orders over $69. For orders under $69, we charge a flat $8, no matter which country you are in.
International shipping costs vary widely from country to country, and for some destinations the real cost is far higher than $8. So you never have to worry about shipping fees, we set one flat rate based on the lowest-cost destinations and cover the difference ourselves.
Any duties or import taxes on your order are covered by us, and you will not be asked to pay anything extra. If this policy ever changes, we will announce it on our policy pages in advance.
Once your order is dispatched, we will send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can also track your parcel directly on our Order Tracking page.
Some of our pieces are shipped from the Tibet region or Nepal, so parcels first travel overland to a consolidation hub before continuing by air. This stage usually takes 3-5 business days, and tracking may update slowly during this time. That is completely normal. If your parcel still hasn't arrived 45 days after dispatch, contact us right away and we will investigate together with the carrier.
If your order is taking longer than the estimated delivery time, contact us with your order number. We will check with the carrier and do our best to move things along, and we will help arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Please check around your property and with your neighbors, and confirm the delivery address on your order. If you still cannot find it, contact us with your order number and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
Please contact us as soon as possible. We can usually update your address before your order is dispatched. After dispatch we cannot change the address ourselves, but we can ask the carrier to try, though it is not guaranteed. Also, if a package is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we are happy to reship it, though additional shipping costs may apply.
Returns & After-Sales
Returns, refunds, and what to do if something arrives damaged.
We offer a 30-day return policy from the date you receive your item. Items must be in the same condition you received them: unworn, unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase. For full details, please see our Refund Policy.
Custom, personalized, and made-to-order pieces cannot be returned. Sale items and gift cards are also excluded from returns.
Please email us first at support@tibetartshop.com with your order number and the reason for your return, and we will reply with the return address and next steps. Please contact us before sending anything back, as parcels returned without prior confirmation cannot be accepted.
If your item arrived damaged or has a quality issue, we will cover the return shipping. In all other cases, the customer covers it. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your receipt.
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will let you know the outcome. If your refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may need a little extra time to post it to your account.
Please contact us as soon as possible after delivery (within 7 days is recommended), with your order number and clear photos of the item and its packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund in line with our policy.

Most of our pieces draw on the craft traditions of Tibet and the Himalayan region. Some items are shipped from the Tibet region or Nepal, traveling first overland to a consolidation hub before continuing by air.
Every piece is made from the natural materials listed on its product page, and many are finished or assembled by hand. Small variations in color and pattern are part of what makes handmade pieces unique. If you have a question about a specific item, we are always happy to help.
Product photos represent the design as a whole. Natural stones and handcrafted pieces vary slightly in color, pattern, and size, so the item you receive may differ a little from the photo. We do our best to show every piece accurately.
Sizing & Care
Finding your size and caring for your pieces.
Wrap a soft tape measure around your wrist, snug but not tight, and note the circumference. If you do not have a tape measure, use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler. Our complete size charts for bracelets, rings, and bead diameters are on our Size Guide.
If you are between two sizes or unsure, contact us and we will help you decide.
Please check the materials on the product page before ordering. Gold-plated, copper, and brass pieces may contain trace metals that some people react to. If you know you are sensitive to certain metals, consider silver or non-metal pieces, and remove your jewelry before sweating, swimming, or applying skincare products. This is general guidance and not medical advice.
There are three approaches you can try:
- By intention: think about what you would like to invite, such as protection, clarity, abundance, love, or healing
- By intuition: notice which pieces catch your eye while browsing
- By tradition: our product descriptions explain the Tibetan Buddhist or Feng Shui meaning behind each design
Still not sure? Contact us and we will gladly help you choose.
In Tibetan Buddhist and Feng Shui tradition, the left hand is associated with receiving energy inward, and the right hand with sending energy outward:
- Left hand: for protection, healing, or attracting abundance
- Right hand: for releasing or giving energy
This is a tradition rather than a rule, so wear your pieces in whatever way feels right to you.
Yes. Layering is common, and many people pair pieces with complementary meanings. Go with what feels comfortable and right for you.
We recommend:
- Avoid contact with water, perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals.
- Remove your jewelry before swimming, bathing, or exercising.
- Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or box to prevent scratching.
- Wipe metal parts with a soft, dry cloth to restore their shine.
- Avoid prolonged sunlight, which can fade some stones over time.
We recommend:
- Hang it in a clean, respectful space at eye level or slightly higher, such as an altar or meditation corner.
- Avoid direct sunlight, which fades the pigments over time.
- Keep it away from humidity and moisture.
- Handle the fabric border with care, and avoid touching the painted surface with bare hands.
- To clean it, dust gently with a very soft, dry brush, and never use water or cleaning products.
Traditionally, a Thangka is treated with reverence, and it is considered respectful not to place it on the floor or in a bathroom.
Tibetan Culture & Meaning
The symbolism behind our pieces.
Yes. Many of our customers do not follow Buddhism, and are drawn to Tibetan pieces for their beauty, craftsmanship, symbolism, or the positive meanings behind them. You do not need to hold any particular belief to enjoy them.
Om Mani Padme Hum is the mantra of Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig), the bodhisattva of compassion. Its six syllables correspond to the six realms of existence, and it is traditionally believed to have the power to purify suffering. It is often translated as “the jewel is in the lotus,” and it is a prayer for compassion, wisdom, and liberation. You will find it inscribed on prayer wheels, prayer flags, mani stones, and many of our jewelry pieces.
A prayer wheel is a cylindrical wheel filled with mantras, most commonly Om Mani Padme Hum. In Tibetan Buddhist tradition, spinning it clockwise is believed to carry the same merit as reciting the mantras it contains. It is a form of active meditation and a way of cultivating compassion and positive karma. Hold a calm, focused mind and turn the wheel gently clockwise.
Tibetan Buddhism (Vajrayana) has a rich tradition of ritual objects and sacred art that is not found in every other Buddhist tradition, including prayer wheels, Thangka paintings, Dzi beads, vajra, singing bowls, and specific deity imagery such as Green Tara or Mahakala. Our collection focuses on Tibetan-style pieces and their cultural meanings.
